Tickets for metro, bus, and train services in Greater Copenhagen are integrated, so you can use the same ticket across all modes of transportation, including metro, bus, train, and the harbour bus. Be sure to buy a ticket before boarding.

Copenhagen Card
Purchasing the Copenhagen Card gives you access to over 80 attractions and includes public transportation, including travel to and from the airport.> copenhagencard.com
For easy and stress-free transportation, consider purchasing a Citypass, the ideal choice if you plan to use public transport multiple times. It offers unlimited travel on buses, trains, and the metro within zones 1-4 of Copenhagen and can be activated as soon as you arrive at Copenhagen Airport.

- Kiosks and ticket machines throughout the Metro system
- DOT app (If you purchase a ticket through the DOT Tickets app, a countdown timer will indicate how long your ticket is valid. Tickets bought from a ticket machine will show the expiration time.)
Download the mobile app "DOT Billetter"/'Mobilbilletter' for local tickets in and around Copenhagen (DOT Tickets) and click "Indstillinger" (settings) followed by "Sprog" (language) to select the English version. From there you can select the fare you need and enter your credit card details.

Bus
City bus
You can reach Copenhagen Central Station from the Bella Center or the other way around by taking bus line 30, which takes about 20-25 minutes. Bus schedules are available on the DOT's website.
Harbour bus
A fantastic way to explore the canals and key landmarks is by taking the yellow harbour bus, which operates like a regular bus but along the water. The route features 9 stops on both sides of the harbour, with the yellow ferries zigzagging between destinations such as The Royal Library, Islands Brygge, Refshaleøen, and more, offering plenty of opportunities to hop off and explore. You can travel from Sluseholmen in the south all the way to Orientkajen at the northern tip of Copenhagen's harbour, and the ferries are powered by electricity.
Note that there are three harbour bus route numbers:
- Havnebus 991 - direction: Teglholmen (south)
- Havnebus 992 - direction: Orientkajen (north)
- Harbor bus 993 -Harbor bus 993 Nyhavn - Operaen
