Bio:
An Industrial Engineer by training, Julio Javier de Ancos holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and was appointed General Manager of the Imprenta de Billetes, S.A. (IMBISA), the new printing works in Spain in charge of producing euro banknotes for Banco de España, in November 2015.
After finishing his studies, Julio Javier worked as a Project and Process Engineer for five years, starting up a factory in Poland and implementing the expansion of several factories in France and Spain, among other countries.
He began his career as a General Manager when he moved to Brazil in 2000 in his early thirties to work for the high-end packaging industry. He has since managed outstanding companies in several sectors such as the food industry and graphic arts, both in Europe and South America, always with the goal of improving the efficiency of industrial plants by optimising processes and generating new developments in markets.
